ADHD coaching & burnout support

Stop fighting your brain.
Start remixing it.

For years, you’ve tried to follow the beat of a world that isn't built for you. Burnout is often the consequence.

Forget quick fixes and productivity hacks. The ADHD Remix is about tuning out the external noise and making the most of your own unique mix.

Sound familiar?

Does this sound like you?

  • —You're exhausted, but stopping doesn't feel like an option.
  • —You've tried all the task management systems out there, but can't seem to stick with any of them.
  • —Rest feels like something you have to earn, not something you're allowed to have.
  • —Others can rely on you to get things done, but you struggle to make progress on your own plans.

If even one of these feels familiar, you're exactly who this coaching is for.

About me

Hi, I'm Penny.

Perhaps like me, you may be a late-identified neurodivergent woman who was just about coping until you hit your late 30s or 40s. Perhaps you're supporting aging parents, younger family members and others around you. You’re so used to masking that you barely feel the extra load you’ve been carrying.

I discovered ADHD coaching a few years ago, decades into my quest to figure out why life always seemed harder and more intense for me than for other people. Why I encountered burnout so often, and why I struggled with things like procrastination and time management so much more than my colleagues.

Seeing an ADHD coach helped me to feel understood and accepted for one of the first times in my life; I became a coach myself in order to pass on that support and understanding to others going through this journey.

Burnout prevention and recovery support is where I do my deepest work. So many of us spend years running ourselves ragged, masking, over-preparing, and running on adrenaline until it's no longer possible to carry on. I help clients recognise those patterns, recover, and build a life they can truly sustain.

Sessions with me are collaborative, judgement-free, and a little bit fun.

“I’m inspired by remixing and being subversive. I am inspired by disruption and tenderness. I am inspired by imagination.”

Client stories

Hear from people I've worked with.

"Before we started coaching, I felt so overwhelmed and stuck in a bit of a doom-and-gloom mindset. Penny was recommended to me by a colleague, thankfully! I didn’t really have any expectations or hesitations I was really struggling and needed someone to talk to. I was still just beginning to learn more about my ADHD, and at the time I was also going through burnout at work and struggling to get the support I needed.

Early on, we did some tasks and exercises that really helped me stop gas-lighting myself. That alone was huge. Instead of minimizing what I was struggling with or telling myself I “should be coping better,” I was able to look at things more honestly and clearly. It helped me actually face my problems and areas of improvement rather than avoid or spiral around them. It also helped me see what I was doing well and highlighted my strengths.

"I did a 10 week work coaching course with Penny and it has been incredibly helpful. Penny helped me work through some issues that I felt were preventing me from being as effective at work as possible. In particular, I was able to develop my time management (or time protection) skills and stick to schedules so as not to get distracted by the constant stream of emails and meetings. Penny also helped with my confidence, enabling me to see the skills that I brought to my work without focusing solely on the skills I needed to develop or improve. I would happily continue to have sessions with Penny; she is compassionate and non-judgemental and always made me feel at ease."

~ SG, associate professor

"Penny is an insightful and knowledgeable coach with a gentle approach that made me feel seen and heard in sessions. She’s quick to make clients feel comfortable and build relationships. She asks insightful questions that always led me to unlock something in my thought patterns which I previously hadn’t thought about. Penny offers huge amounts of knowledge around ADHD and the ADHD brain. I can highly recommend her."

Good to know

Frequently asked questions.

What is ADHD coaching?

Coaching is a process focused on helping you achieve your personal and professional goals. A coach acts as a thought partner, using powerful questions and active listening to help you gain clarity, identify your strengths, and move forward with your goals.

ADHD coaching is a form of coaching designed to help individuals with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) better understand their unique brain and develop practical strategies to thrive. It's not about "fixing" ADHD, but rather about building on your strengths and working with your challenges. Through our sessions, we'll create custom systems and tools that fit your unique lifestyle, whether it's a new time-management technique, a system for organising your home office, or a method for tackling procrastination. Ultimately, ADHD coaching is about empowering you to take control of your life, reduce feelings of overwhelm, and move forward with greater purpose and effectiveness.

What does ADHD burnout actually mean?

It's the exhaustion that builds up from years of compensating for undiagnosed or unsupported ADHD, such as masking, overworking, and running on last-minute adrenaline. It can look like depression or chronic fatigue, but the recovery path is different. Burnout support is one of my core coaching interests.

Do I need a formal diagnosis to work with you?

No, many clients are self-identified, are on the waiting list for an assessment, or simply recognise ADHD-style patterns in how they work. We'll build around what's actually happening for you.

How is ADHD coaching different from therapy or counselling?

Coaching is focused on the present and future and is action-oriented, helping you to achieve specific goals and unlock your full potential.

Therapy and counselling generally tend to be past-focused, concentrating on healing emotional, psychological, or behavioural issues. Whilst a coach helps you build skills to navigate aspects of your life, a therapist helps you heal from the challenges that may be holding you back.

Some people with ADHD find that having both a coach and a therapist or counsellor can provide the most comprehensive support, as they address different, but equally important, aspects of the ADHD experience.

How are sessions held?

All sessions are via video call, with an audio-only option always available if that's easier for you on a given day.

What if a package isn't the right length for me?

We'll check in as we go. It's easy to add sessions or adjust the plan — the packages are a starting structure, not a contract set in stone.
